Adam is an experienced property lawyer. Having completed a Bachelor of Laws and Arts, Adam has worked for well known firms throughout the South West including Sewells Larkins McCarthy in Colac (known as SLM Law) and Cuthberts in Ballarat (now known as Harwood Andrews). Adam has practiced in the areas of Property, Conveyancing, Wills and Estates and Commercial Law.
Adam also has a background in education and a keen interest in rowing and sailing. Originally from Ballarat, his home town, Adam moved to Hamilton in 2012 with his wife Kirstie and young daughter, Cora.
Adam believes in providing efficient and high quality legal service to the people of the South West.
Bryan has practiced in many areas of the law commencing with extensive Magistrates’ Court appearances and personal injury claims. However, the majority of Bryan’s career has been successfully practiced in the area of aviation law, commercial law, planning applications, commercial property transactions trusts and business structures.
He was born in Hamilton, where his family formerly had extensive commercial interests. He has been Chairman of the Board of Monivae College and is currently Chairman of the Monivae College Foundation. Bryan has been a Mayor of the City of Brighton and in June 2013, was awarded the Order of Australia for Services to the City of Brighton and Rural Education.
After many years of practicing in Melbourne, he and his wife Margaret relocated to Hamilton in November 2013.
Mallory is the firm’s longest serving employee having started shortly after graduating from Monivae in 2004. She has worked her way through the ranks of the firm from Office Assistant, Legal Secretary, Law Clerk to Paralegal.
Mallory grew up on the outskirts of Dunkeld on a cattle farm and moved into Hamilton in 2009 where she lives with her husband and two daughters.
Mallory is a qualified Paralegal and manages our Probate and Deceased Estates department. She is a competent and meticulous worker who cares about our clients, predominantly during times of bereavement.
Amanda is a staple of the Taylor Stratmann family having been a valued member of the firm for ten years. Amanda has transitioned through the firm’s name changes of Hunter Newns and Stratmann & Co. and during that time has held many roles including; Receptionist, Legal Secretary, Accounts Officer and Deeds Officer.
Amanda grew up on a sheep farm near Cavendish and moved to Hamilton when her parents sold the farm in 2005. Amanda has always had a keen interest in sport and currently plays netball for the Hamilton Kangaroos Football Netball Club. She lives in Hamilton with her partner, Hugh and infant son, Fletcher.
Amanda currently works in the Property Law/ Conveyancing Team with our Conveyancing Clerk, Anna and Principal solicitor Adam, where her years of experience are invaluable to the team. Amanda also assists in the Wills and EPA’s department.
Kirstie joined Taylor Stratmann Lawyers in 2016 after over a decade in the education sector. She brings with her extensive management and organisational skills. Combined with experience in the customer service industry, Kirstie has a strong focus on the firm’s Mission Statement of providing excellent service with integrity and professionalism to the Greater Hamilton area.
Kirstie works in the areas of accounts, recruiting, performance management, employee engagement, compliance, sponsorship, publicity and advertising.
Kirstie has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Teaching from Deakin. She lives in Hamilton with her husband and young daughter.
Jess grew up in Coleraine and graduated from Baimbridge in 2004. She began working for Hunter Newns in 2009 where she was a legal secretary for two years until the birth of her son.
In 2017 Jess returned to the firm as our Receptionist and we are glad to have her back.
